Okay, so yesterday I went to a really amazing art shop and completely splurged! I spent around £84 ($134) on art supplies. It's fine though, really, because there are NO art shops where I live, so that's what comes out of being deprived. I'll be doing art all summer though (or at least what's left of it), so it definitely won't be to waste. Soooo, my favourite of everything that I bought was -drumroll- a neat pack of watercolour postcards, by Daler Rowney (www.heatoncooper.co.uk/shopima…). I just love sending people postcards when I'm on a trip or something rather, and I thought it would be great if I could make it myself! So yay, really excited
A huge down is that I have a 6-hour car drive tomorrow home D: I guess it'll be good to be back, because I haven't uploaded any new art/stock for two and a half weeks, because I haven't had my normal computer with Photoshop, so I have only been going on dA and feeling sad as I watch everyone else upload amazing art. Anyway, will be back on task tomorrow!
A thank you to Quarkje for the premi (I featured her in my last journal indian-ink.deviantart.com/jour…)! So a 'surprise' is coming up
And a thank you to shelldevil and jumpin-jack for the Daily Deviation on fav.me/d3jexga! I really, really appreciate it, and I'm really honoured. It's got me wanting to make more DD-worthy art. I also really appreciate all of the support - the comments, faves and congrats.

deadline extended!
After numerous requests, I have decided that it would be better for the deadline for the Journey to the Centre of the Earth competition will be extended by just a bit - two weeks.
So the new deadline is for the 14th Jan rather than the 1st. I hope that gives people enough time to finish everything that they had in mind. Remember that if your entry that include my own or i-mi (https://www.deviantart.com/i-mi)'s stock, then you get a head start, an extra point in the running!

COMPETITION - Journey to the Centre of the Earth
"Was I to believe him in earnest in his intention to penetrate to the centre of this massive globe? Had I been listening to the mad speculations of a lunatic, or to the scientific conclusions of a lofty genius? Where did truth stop? Where did error begin?" - Jules Verne, Journey to the Centre of the Earth
Starting on November 25th and ending January 1st, come and experience the adventure of travelling through an untouched world to the centre of the earth. Based upon the book by Jules Verne, the theme of this equine manipulation contest is the whole concept of journeying into a place caught in time, and is being hosted by myself, :devindian-i
